A card for my boyfriend

Wanna hear a little story? So, my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years. For the first couple of years, every month of the 16th, I made him one handmade gift. 16th is the day we got together. But as time passes by, I now only make him something for the holidays or birthdays.
The other day, I decided to make him a card using one of my favourite stamp sets from Mama elephant. I had a lot of fun making this card and so glad he likes it!❤️

Here is the picture of the card:

I coloured the images using Copics, used  red pigment ink for the hearts, and heat embossed the sentiment.

Anothe shot of the card to show one dimensions.

Here is the closer look the my images:

I think it's very meaningful to make something for our love ones once in a while and the mot important part is that we get to have fun creating it!!

Ho Ho Ho x 2!

Have you started your xmas card making? Each year I started too late so I decided to start early this year.

I have made this card using the same Avery Elle stamp set that I share a bit ago. This time I have made the back group so colorful and coloured with copics!!!

I glittered the Santa hat with stickler and add glitter to the candies and gifts in the background with wink of Stella.

This is a completely different feel to the last card I made with the same stamp set. And I didn't stick to the traditional xmas colours!!! We don't need to have everything reds and greens for Christmas right?

I hope you like the card and enjoy the weekend!!!

Simple card using Mama Elephant stamps

Hi. Hope you are having a great day and it's the weekend!!!! I have a simple card to share with you guys.

I made this card using a Mama Elephant stamp set. First, I masked the images together. Then I blended the background with some distress inks. And I cut around the umbrella so that part of the umbrella is popping out. I used a colourful strip of paper from my stash for the border of the card. Lastly, I glittered my images using a clear Wink Of Stella pen.

This is a very simple card but will sure brighten someone's day.

I hope you like the card, see you next time :)

Stamping Smiles Designs: Designer call

I have always wanted to be on a designer team for any stamping company because I love to explore all the different kinds of stamps and get to know all the talented designers on the team. Not only will I make some amazing friends and I also get to share my work with other.

I was very excited when I saw Stamping Smile Designs is hosting a designer call. I decided I should jump right in to participate.

I created this card using their Tic Tac Toe challenge. Forest friends, one layer, thank you card.

I used a waffle flower craft stamp set and coloured with copics. The background was stamped with the banana and flowers from the same set. I glittered the sentiment using wink of Stella.

I hope you like the card I shared and wish me luck for this designer call.

Start of share handmade kindness month

Jennifer McGuire started a campaign called Share Handmade Kindess. For the month of November, she challenges us to make something each day for someone to share the joy of handmade crafts. This is my first day to join in the campaign.

I made a set of 3 cards using Altenew Vintage roses stamp set. I used both Momento dye inks and Mama Elephant pigment inks. I love the results.
For the Word hugs, I used a die from Lawn Fawn.

I love this stamp set as it is so elegant from great for many occasions!!!

Please join in this campaign and share the love with everyone :)

Ho Ho Ho!!!

Hello, I am really trying to get back to blogging!!! I have a Christmas card to share as you can tell from the title!

This stamp set is from Avert Elle, this is my first stamp with them and I am so happy I purchased it. They have really good quality of photopolymer stamp and all the images are so cute!!!!

I water coloured the background using Gensai Tambi palette. I really like this palette, it goes on the paper like butter!! After I hear set the colours, I use white gel pen to dot some snow in the background!

For the final step, I used a Marvy snow marker for Santa's mastache and the snow on the North Pole sign!!!

I have really enjoyed making this card and I made a set of 3 using the whole stamp set! I hope you enjoy looking too!!! Happy Halloween!!!

It has been a while...

So I haven't been updating my blog due to a couple of reasons. First of all, I have been updating my cards on IG that I thought I didn't need this blog but then I realised I kind of miss this blogging space. Then there is the fact that I have been quite busy at work and all. However, I am going to take 5 mins each day to come here and talk a little bit more about my craft after I update my IG.

If you come from IG, I welcome you here on my land of imagination.

This is the card I want to share with you guys! I bought this Altenew vintage roses stamp set and used it for the first time. I love how realistic the roses become after you layer a few inks together.

I made this card for a friend that is so sweet and kind. I am so thankful I have met such an amazing friend like her everyday!!!

If you have a friend that you think who is amazing and you want to let her know, go ahead and make him/her something! I am sure it will brighten his/her day!!!

Thank you so much for dropping by and taking the time to visit my blog!

Giveaway on Instagram

Hi all, I am having a giveaway on my instagram. My account name is noreeny03, please hoop over there to join in the fun! If you are coming from my instagram account, then you are in the right place.

I am currently tidying up my crafting space and supplies. I have found A LOT of products that I have bought but haven't use them very often. I would like to give away some of my products for FREE. I hope these products will be used by some of my crafty friends rather than just sit in a box. Therefore, I will be hosting MORE THAN 1 GIVEAWAY to my crafty friends.

However, there are a few things to bear in mind if you want to enter for my giveaway:
- All of products from my giveaway have only been use once or twice. Some of them are brand new! (I know I am a bad crafter.)
- Some products are from my local craft store, so they are not the fancy brand that you might be expected.
- I store them in a box, so I don't have the original packaging.

If you are OK with the above notes, please join in! Because this is my first time having a giveaway, I just wanted to make things clear so that I don't disappoint you.

This time I am giving away:
- A set of animal head stamps
- A floral stamp I got when I was living in Canada, I believe it's from Michael's

I think those little animals are so cute. They are great to use on small cards or planners!!!

The rules:
1. Like this post on Instagram
2. Follow me on Instagram
3. Tag a crafty friend who you think might like this gift
4. One friend per comment
5. Share/ Repost this by using #giveawaybynoreenY
6.Open internationally

Because this is the first time I do this, therefore I am posting all the rules here, but from now on I will only post the rules on instagram.

I just got this die from Lawn Fawn and I am in LOVE with it! Everytime I color this rainbow, I smile from the bottom of my heart! Rainbow just makes me so happy and represents who I am as a person! AND it is so much fun to play with. For the clouds, I use 3 different kinds of stamps from Simon Says Stamps and Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is also from Lawn Fawn, isn't it just the sweetest thing you can tell a person?

Lawn Fawn has always been my favorite stamp company and they continue to amaze me! I just received my order from them and I have played with the stamps and dies non stop for the past week!

Cross Stich Tilda

Hello friends, time for another card I made over my day off. I am in quite a roll lately! Happy to get my stack of cards piling for late uses! Without further ado, let's get back to the card. I am entering this card for 5 challenges:

2.Word Art Wednesday #189: Anything goes
3. Creative moments #71: Anything goes
4. Addicted to stamp challenge #107: Bingo (Pearls, stamped image and ribbon)
5. Lovely hanglar or sweet magnolia challenge blog#121: Pearls/ Gems

The coloring medium I used for all my images are Specturm Noir. For my design papers, I used a pack I got long time ago from Me& My Big Ideas. The flowers I used are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is just from my stack. Last but not least, I used some Glossy Accent on the word "SMILE".

I hope you like this card. This is my first Magnolia stamp I got 4, 5 years ago and I still think she is adorable til this day. Although the Tildas Magnolia is producing look very different from her, she just has this cuteness!

Have an amazing day!!!!!

I hope this card will brighten someone's day during this rainy weather in HK or when they are having a bad day.

It has been 2 years...

I cant beleive it has been 2 years since my last blog post. I have to admit, I stopped card making for quite a while due to some personal changes in my life. Then I craft here and there for a bit. Its not until lately my card engine starts again. I will try to enter challenges and swaps once I get my feet settle.

The card I am showing today will not be entering any challenges, its just to refresh the blog.

I used a Magnolia image on this card and used some colorful pattern paper as it is for a friend's birthday. I hope this will brighten her day!
